Our Story

A Cherished Family Tradition

In the heart of northeastern China lies the city of Shenyang, where the tradition of handmade dumplings is more than just a culinary craft — it’s a symbol of family, warmth, and heritage. For generations, our family has gathered around the kitchen table to fold dumplings by hand, filling each one with love, laughter, and the rich flavors of home. This time-honored ritual, passed down through grandparents, parents, and children, reflects the essence of Shenyang culture: togetherness, resilience, and pride in doing things the traditional way. Every dumpling tells a story — from snowy New Year’s Eves to everyday meals made special. Today, we continue this tradition not only to honor our roots but to share a piece of our history with you.

Shenyang is known for its dumplings, with the most famous being Laobian dumplings, which are characterized by their unique filling preparation (fried and then simmered in soup). Another popular type is the Ma Jia steamed dumpling, a specialty of the Hui people, known for its dough made with boiling water and a soft, chewy texture.
